Estrojeune is an upright script with horizontal contrast suitable for bold visual identities such as those required by music festivals, playful brands, captivating packaging, titles, and headings: anything that needs to be communicated in a loud, saucy, and joyful way.
Estrojeune features a fairly large x-height, narrow proportions, and stylistic variations that are automatically triggered according to each letter’s position within a word, thanks to the appropriate OpenType feature. The typeface also includes numerous alternates that automatically activate to create entry and exit strokes on more distinctive letters such as r, s or z. A set of arrows and several symbols related to astronomy, astrology, sexual orientation, and gender has also been drawn, as well as a set of swash capitals, which can be enabled through the OpenType features panel to create striking drop caps.
